CAREERS
So, you’re creative. You’re collaborative. You’re committed. You love learning about the latest tech and marketing news. And most of all, you love seeing the work you do drive results and make a true impact. Yep, you sound like our kind of person!Life at Picos is all about innovation, driving incredible results, and having fun while we flex our creative muscles. We put community first, building a culture where people from all walks of life can thrive. If you’re interested in a work environment that allows for plenty of laughs, table tennis, and continuous learning, Picos might just be the place for you.
As well as encouraging independent growth, we’re all about learning as a team. In our frequent Picos Pro+ sessions, we sit down with a coffee and a snack to focus on growing our knowledge and skills. Whether it’s harnessing the power of a new Adobe update or keeping up with the latest AI developments, we all have a lot to teach – and learn from – each other.
We also encourage attending industry events, and are eager to accommodate other professional development opportunities you have in mind. All you have to do is ask!
As a smaller team, everyone’s voice counts. While we do have a management structure in place to take the pressure off each individual, we also want to hear your ideas and are receptive to change. We’re not in the business of staying stagnant for the sake of sticking to processes; on the theme of constantly growing and developing, your input matters.
Our working hours mean that we wrap up at 12:30 pm on Fridays. Yep, we head home at lunch time! We love getting a head start on the weekend, meaning we’re fully rested and recharged for the fresh week ahead. We’ve found that this helps us strike the optimal work-life balance.
We observe all standard public holidays, giving you time to celebrate and spend time with loved ones. During the Christmas and New Year period, we encourage our team to use this time for a well-deserved break, utilising their annual leave to enjoy the festive season fully.
Our space is equipped with meeting rooms, breakout spaces, a photography studio, call pods, a full kitchen, podcast equipment, and more. Not to mention the coffee machine, monkey bars, fully stocked bar, and snack cabinet!
Our central location means that we’re easily accessible by public transport and a (very) short walk from cafés, bars, restaurants, quick lunch spots, shopping, and Dyeworks Park.

Fri: 9:00am - 12:30pm
At Picos Media, we’re a creative performance marketing agency that thrives on delivering growth for our clients. We combine strategic insight with creative execution to transform campaigns into extraordinary results. Our clients are predominately eCommerce brands looking to scale, and you’ll play a pivotal role in driving their growth through performance marketing.
Our boutique coworking space, Yellow Desk, is the hub of creativity, collaboration, and innovation, located right in the heart of South Yarra. We’re passionate about pushing boundaries and making every project count—and we’re looking for someone just as driven to join our team!
This is a part-time role, working 3, 4 or 5 days a week (depending on what we agree upon), with the ability to grow into a full-time position within a few months, depending on your performance and business growth.
What's the role?
As a Paid Media Specialist, you’ll take control of our Meta campaigns (Facebook and Instagram), guiding strategy, optimising performance, and driving real growth for our clients. You’ll be the expert leading the charge, with the freedom to shape paid media strategies and exceed client goals from day one. You live and breathe data and are obsessed with delivering results that move the needle.
At Picos, we work with various eCommerce and service-based clients in fashion, real estate, FMCG, food consumables, and more. You’ll manage a mix of lead generation and conversion-focused campaigns designed to drive both awareness and sales. This role will require a deep understanding of different audiences and funnel stages, and you’ll regularly create strategies tailored to each client's specific needs.
About You
- You have 2+ years of hands-on agency experience managing Meta campaigns (Facebook and Instagram), with a track record of hitting and exceeding performance goals.
- You’re both creative and analytical, always seeking innovative solutions to scale campaigns while optimising efficiency and results.
- You’re a natural leader—confident in guiding media buying efforts and working with others. You don’t need a lot of oversight; you set the standard.
- You understand the power of great creatives combined with data-driven decisions. You can develop compelling ads and optimise them to achieve outstanding performance.
- You excel at managing client relationships delivering clear, actionable insights that keep everyone aligned. Your ability to explain complex strategies in simple terms makes you a trusted advisor to clients.
- You understand how Meta ads tie in to email marketing as well as knowing how to sync and use Klaviyo lists for retargeting purposes.
- You’re an expert at configuring and analysing pixels and data sets for both eCommerce platforms and service-based lead-gen websites.
- Google Ads? Bonus! While your expertise lies with Meta, experience with Google Ads is a plus but not a requirement.
- Plan, manage, and optimise paid media campaigns across Meta (Facebook and Instagram), ensuring every dollar is spent effectively to drive measurable results.
- Develop data-driven strategies tailored to each client’s unique goals, using insights to keep campaigns on track and consistently delivering high performance.
- Collaborate closely with the rest of the Picos team to brief, create, and test ad creatives that grab attention and convert.
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics in real-time, using your analytical mindset to continually optimise campaigns for peak efficiency.
- Test relentlessly—from creatives to audience targeting and landing pages—to identify the winning combinations that maximise return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Communicate clearly and confidently with clients, providing actionable insights and delivering results that exceed their expectations.
- Stay ahead of trends by keeping up with the latest developments in digital advertising. This ensures we stay innovative and cutting-edge in our Meta campaign strategies.
- Take initiative, always seeking new ways to push performance, test bold ideas, and drive better results.
- Be a team player who thrives in collaboration, contributing to the vibrant culture of Picos Media and supporting your colleagues in delivering outstanding work.
As you excel in this part-time role, there will be opportunities to take on more responsibilities and move toward full-time hours, making this a career that grows with you.
